We are in full learning mode! inQbator hands-on mentoring started two weeks ago with our experienced coaches. Subject matter experts from different fields will be giving workshops to the start-ups joining us!
So far, we have attended an introduction to the Go-To-Market concept where we learned the basics of growth strategy with Valentin Splett. Our Go-To-Market program helps early-stage health tech entrepreneurs create a solid commercial game plan and raise faster, at a higher valuation. Successful healthcare business models are complex to develop, validate, and even scale. A go-to-market strategy that withstands investors’ scrutiny is not a nice-to-have. It is essential for closing funding rounds pre-revenue and prioritizing your R&D investments because you cannot afford to develop product features that customers won’t pay for.
Our first cohort of start-ups explored how to discover their personal value on Social Media with MediaCrew’s Social Media expert. Creating your personal brand can be daunting, and one of the easiest ways to get lost in the process not to know where to start. Therefore, Julia Fischer prepared a nicely Personal Branding Workshop for us: “Be your own brand.” A personal brand is something necessary for everyone. How do you want people to react when they hear your name? Sometimes we get too focused on branding our own companies that we forget to brand what will really connect with your audience: You. If you want to make an impact in the world, creating a branding strategy for you and your business is definitely the place to begin.
Finally, we attended a workshop about the benefits of Diversity in start-up teams. Franziska Stemmler explained how a strong diversity and inclusion strategy can help your start-up to drive innovative results. It’s not a secret that many companies who have launched diversity and inclusion initiatives outperform those with a more homogeneous workforce. But the key is not just diversity, the key is to make diversity inclusive and to establish a sense of belonging for every worker. Inclusion in the workplace is to create a collaborative, supportive, and respectful environment that increases participation and contribution. True inclusion will remove all barriers, discrimination, and intolerance.
